Who we are...

R&L Color Graphics, Inc. is a small business located in Detroit, providing graphic design and printing services. We offer in-house design and production for a wide range of materials, including obituaries, flyers, business cards, banners, posters, and other custom print products. Our goal is to provide prompt, high-quality, and personalized printing services that support both families and the local businesses that make up our community.

At our core, we help preserve and honor family legacies through obituary design and printing. We understand that families come to us during moments of grief, and we approach each project with compassion, patience, and respect.

But we do much more, we also support our fellow small business owners by providing easily accessible graphic design and printing services. We work closely with entrepreneurs to develop business cards, flyers, and banners that help them promote their services and grow their visibility. As a local print shop, we pride ourselves on being hands-on problem solvers who take the time to understand each client’s needs and deliver thoughtful, high-quality work.

Hey! My name is Linda Davis and I’m the "L" in R&L Color Graphics, Inc. I’m a travel junkie, foodie, coffee aficionado, and finally, graphic designer.  I graduated from Wayne State University in 1982 with a degree in Commercial Design and spent years building my career in graphic arts. I started R&L, with Richard Jackson, in 1994 in a small office space on the westside of Detroit with a vision of making high-quality memorial printing more accessible and affordable. Over the years our business slowly expanded as my wonderful community grew with me, but our commitment to conscious, courteous, and quality service has remained our mission from the beginning.

I’m also a proud, recent graduate from Wayne State University, Mike Ilitch School of Business. For the past 8 years, I’ve worked alongside my grandmother at R&L. I started out just answering the phones and as I’ve learned through experience and my continuous learning at Wayne, I am now the operations manager! When I first decided to get my bachelor's in business, my vision was to ensure R&L stays open for the community and that’s still my plan. I’m passionate about the work we produce and ensuring each customer leaves knowing they chose the right company.
